Previous work experience
I have twenty years in nonprofit and higher education development and advancement. I was the Director of Development at William Byrd Community House, the Assistant Director for Development at VCU's Richard T. Robertson School of Media & Culture, the inaugural Director of Regional Philanthropy at VCU, a Major Gifts Officer at VCU’s Massey Cancer Center, a Regional Major Gifts Officer at University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and lastly the Director of Development at the Virginia College Fund (Commonwealth Alliance for Rural Colleges).
Favorite thing about working with students
Working in advancement allows me to facilitate change, bridging community and classroom.
When I’m not working, I enjoy:
Rooting for all things VCU & UT - Go Rams / Go Vols!, road tripping with my kids, exploring the Mid-Atlantic and Southern US, volunteering with the recovery community, getting schooled at Scrabble and getting bossed around by a Pug.
Fun fact
I have an Emmy.
