At Rise Academy, we’ve been celebrating the beauty of Black history and the contributions that Black people have made to our country. I’m thankful to see this daily in our hallways when I witness the brilliance, talent, heart, and joy our students bring to our community.

While we take this month to honor Black history, our commitment to celebrating our students and their identities is year-round. I want Rise to be a place where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to show up as their authentic selves.

The strength of the Rise community comes from our individual uniqueness. Let us all be reminded of the beauty of diversity and how far we can go when we help each other along, knowing we are all created in God’s image.
